Briefing about activities related to National Mental Health Survey was given. Other events conducted by institute on the occasion of World Health Day was also told. The findings from state data on depression was also shared and emphasis was given on the ways to tackle depression. The issue of large treatment gap was discussed with media and need for awareness about depression among general public was suggested to overcome the treatment barrier. Newspapers had given importance by giving a good coverage of activities.
